Steering wheel hub adapter

Hi guys, new to this forum but have been lurking around since I bought my 2010 3-door hatchback.

Have learned much and my project is almost complete. One of the last items (for now!) is a Momo steering wheel and despite the searching I've done thru the threads I can't find a difinitive answer as to what other car's hub adapter will work for the '10 Yaris.

Parts department at my local dealer very patiently tried to cross-reference the Yaris steering collumn but it's a unique part to the Yaris and we couldn't find any other common parts that might clue us in.

I really like the guys at LTB Motorsports (where I will order the wheel from) and they are just as intersted as me in finding out which adapter will work for future customers.

Be specific (model, sub-model, year, etc.) as possible, but any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

most steering columns wont cross reference not because the shafts are different, but because they have different mounting points or some other dodad that isnt on another car. but usually the splines are the same..

2 ways to approach this i think, unless someone has an answer for you. talk to the parts store that sells the hub. ask the return policy and try to be careful opening the thing up so u can wrap it up and make it look as if its was off the shelf. most companies will take it back if the wrapping still looks good.

try going to a junk yard and pull off a steering wheel from another yaris, or scion. either that, or take a caliper and measure the diameter of the shaft and count the splines, take a picture and see if yours matches..

sorry, but that the best i got.. hope someone has an easier solution.. of course this is going about it before internet was made.. im old school.. i say get your hands dirty

Or just buy one made for the Yaris.

This one if you want to chance it not fitting, which it probably will fit.

Or get one from garm.

please don't buy a cheap hub. Buy one that uses your clock mechanism, so you don't have horn wires twisting back and forth inside there.

and fyi no one can beat my prices on Momo parts.

I'm actually waiting on some parts (NST shifter cable bushings and NST pullys) from you. Just checked and did a search and don't see any Momo products on your website...

The Works Bell adapter on your site is a short version, I would imagine I need a standard length if I'm not going to use a quick release mechanism. You got one of those?

You can use either short or long hub. I have both in stock.

I carry brands, so not everything is listed on the store quite yet. Still working on that. But if you know something specific you want, please let me give you a quote for it!

Will do.

Btw, my Yaris is sporting one of your stickers from an earlier purchase!
