07 Toyota Yaris Hatchback - Electrical Problem. Car won't start
In need of serious help I've had my Yaris for about 4 years now. I bought it used and it currently has 85k+ miles on it. Over the years I have installed numerous sound systems, landing me in my current situation. I left the car with my brother while I was out of town for a few days and he called me and said that the car won't start. Upon arrival I examined the car and realized that my starter motor was burnt along with my alternator and engine harness. Ive since replaced my engine harness, interior fuse box, starter, alternator, and ignition switch. The car still would not start. Can someone please help me!?!

07 Toyota Yaris Hatchback - Electrical Problem. Car won't start
No. I got it to start once after that problem. That was the first time I changed the ignition switch after the incident. Alternator was still bad and when I connected it that caused the ignition switch to go bad. Ever since the ignition switch seems to keep going bad. For example when I put the key in everything seems normal until I turn the key to the off position the dash stays illuminated as if the key is in the on position. Also if I turn on the front windshield wiper switch on the speedometer needles goes up to about 60mph and stays there...I've been through 5+ ignition switches. I need to find a solution fast

You've seriously been waiting a month and a half for the forum to help you out? I think you'd better escalate the situation.

Ok. I've solved the problem and my car starts like the day I first got it! After replacing my engine harness, relay integration, And interior fuse box with no avail my next step was taking out my dash harness. I then replaced everything. Relay integration box was still buzzing when the key was on and the engine would not turn over my last resort was to clean all ground points. It turned out that the main ground wire that goes to the transmission was slack and corroded. After that she fired up like a champ even after sitting for over a year!
