So wait, did you remove the AC or something?

The old one is an AC compatible one being used and the new one is not for the AC designated car, but you bought one that is not for the AC?

You have to loosen the upper and lower Alternator bolts and pivot the alternator to release the old belt. To tighten the new one, carefully pry the alternator outwards, while being very careful not to crush the OCV, which is mounted to the engine, right near where you will be prying.

i got it off lol. just to clear some things up... i bought the car and it made a terrible squealing noise. i found out that the girl that owned the car hit something and messed up the ac unit. so i got the belt for the car with out ac so the squealing would stop. it works, no squealing !!!. but no ac. but for 10 dollars the squealing is gone. only bad thing is no ac. but i wont need ac for months anyway. the squealing was so loud people had to cover their ears, so i had to do something lol. thanks for the help guys.
