Sorry, been cramming for the exam.

The rims do look sweet, though! I personally think that shiny chrome rims don't look great on compact cars, but now I may rethink that.

Here's mine trying on some snow cables before I took off to Oregon in January.

did you get them from microimage.
I saw that they are not plug and play. Is it hard to do? Do you just get some plastic clamp clip do dads to fasten the wires together?

btw. are these DOT approved?

If you could get a hold of the OEM Toyota RS tail lights, that would be even better!
Both the replica that MicroImage sells and OEM RS tails are not DOT approved as they do not have the red reflector in them.

Was bored before class so here's a couple shots with my phone. Kinda poor quality though.

Yeah, I'm planning on getting some as soon as my finances allow it, damn this tight budget. For now I try to keep them clean at least. I had to take off the hubcaps though, I thought they looked hideous, haha.

Somewhere I heard that applying wax on the steel wheels helps the shine.

Yes it does. It will add a gloss to the flat black appearance.

A new shot taken at the MR2/Toyota meet. Not much new to see except for the foglights.

Nope, the plate is totally mangled. Only part of my front end that's still original after a collision I had a few months back.

Thanks! It's not TOTALLY dumped, I can go a bit lower if I want. Just a teeny bit though.

I didn't bother wiring mine up when I installed them because I was lazy and running out of daylight, lol.

YAR1S: the cops in my area arent harsh at all w/ the tail lights. I think LED tail lights are slowly becoming an exception that do not require reflectors for some reason. I have seen some cars that come w/ stock LED tail lights that did not have a reflector at all....

I've had mine for more than 1 year and half now, and i pass by cops as well as have been ticketed for dark tints twice...and nothing has been said about my my OEM RS tails....

Go ahead and get them~
