New England Weather )o:
I'm going to need to restore some after market parts that are getting RUST,
The RS badge and Sport Mesh Grill showing some damage, what would be the best way to restore it? The NF210 are showing signs of rust... and the Ultra Racing 19mm rear sway bar is showing some rust as well I guess most of the after market parts are not designed for New England Weather I'm going to restore all these parts before winter this year! . |

wow. never seen those sway bars like that before. My RS badge is becoming like yours from highway driving. Springs usually get rusty like that after a while.
Sandblast and powder coat them. |

I guess after a little bit more than a year the cold weather and salt on the road, really damages after market parts.

My springs look the same. My grill does too.
(Don't have an emblem or rear sway bar.) |

Oh wow... one of the things that make me happy to live in the south...the few days that it is cold here it's nowhere near cold enough to justify salting the roads.

Maybe you should try what I do , that is wax the fudge out of it . Anything that is painted ( clearcoat included ) gets a thorough waxing b4 going on my Yaris . Yup springs , shocks , and wheels all got waxed . For my badges I put a coat of clear paint then wax .
Also you could go to a metal fab shop that has a plasma cutter and get those badges made from stainless .... Hope this helps
