Any luck with Navigation hacks?
any tips? Most models you upload a 169.00 SD card and I got a quote from the dealership for 350.00 for the Yaris. I don’t want to change out the whole system I’d just like to use the one provided. There’s a button in my car and on the screen.

did it come with navigation and you just want to update it?
or you have the standard system and you want to add navigation? if you want to add navigation, you will need the extension box, the wiring harness , and the antenna. you can find some on ebay or on the classifieds for cheaper |

With a bit of effort and money (about $ 200) you can install Android Radio (HUD) with all the benefits provided by Android.

I haven't been able to locate the SD Card for my 2019 Toyota Yaris L Sedan for navigation either.
But, I think this video proves the card does not have to be exclusively made for the year of your car AND it may not require an extension box, antennae and other parts to install navigation as well. I was also researching if Mazda-2 or 3 and Scion iA's might be options that are compatible w/ the Yaris and specifically the L Sedan for SD-Cards. I haven't been able to confirm if all Toyota Yaris L Sedans were made w/ in-built navigation parts or not too. Anyone else know? |
