1nz-fe ported intake manifold and 2zr-fe throttle body+ Trust Filter/adaptor

I have been at it again and have spent the last week porting out my shorter rs intake manifold and then fitted this new to me Trust airfilter/adaptor combo. It uses my custom brass intake tube with the old tube cut and wrapped around it for insulation and a little bracket i made up, Sounds really good now.


Hand ported to 58mm at lip 54mm smallest, Epoxied the holes it made and added the square at the top so we have two sealing edges.


Checking porting job with my spare throttle body.


Manifold ported, next step was to make a new gasket, used thick cardboard I soaked in oil.


Decided to tidy up the outside with a quick paint job.


Facebook marketplace gods blessed me with this Trust airfilter/adaptor combo right as I finished my porting Came with a new foam insert too


Next up I made this mounting bracket from some alloy bar I had, it bolts directly to the airfilter and then down to the factory air box mount


All installed.

Yeah man works mint once you tune the idle throttle position to 15%
