What the hell is a "toking" noise? I know what someone toking a joint sounds like but I imagine your trying to convey something totally different.

Find a place where you can drive at walking speed with someone walking along beside the car as you brake. Try to at least identify which wheel(s) are the source of the noise.

Yes, I've had this noise before like TikTok without the Tik, just the Tok. I don't know why it makes this noise but I believe it's harmless. I drove with the same noise for quite a while with no I'll effects. I think when the pads eventually need changing a good mechanic can tell you exactly what the noise is. In my case I would not have driven the car had I thought it was even remotely dangerous. Good luck. Try bleeding the brakes it may work.

Also try bleeding the brakes, it might just do the trick.

the problem is fixed...it was the slide pins.. the rubber around the bottom pins were slidding out. I bought new rubbers(view pic), installed, greased and now very smooth.
