P0325 - knock sensor

Hello

I own a toyota vitz 2001, 1.0 petrol, automatic transmission.

Last week I had an issue with the alternator. My electrician replaced the rectifier and soon after I got the engine check on the dashboard.
the code error is P0325 which is related to the knock sensor.

My I please ask where is the knock sensor is located? or if it is related with the replacement of the rectifier or is it just a coincidence?
thank you in advance

best wishes

I tried to do a Google search for the knock sensor location of your car and engine, but here in the United States at least it doesn’t show your vehicle. Perhaps if you tried it in Malta it would come up.

Good luck and tell us what happens!

Dear bronsin,
thank you for helping me. i tried my best to search for the location of the knock sensor. However, did not managed to find its' location.

re: the provided link i could not find the part where it shows/describe the location.
your help is immensely appreciated!

I will send photos of the location of knock sensor as this information is scarce on this matter.
Thank you once again!
