Cool so far

Best so far - The V rated Michelin Premier tires, Konig Feather rims (13.8 pounds), Strut Tower Bar GT Spec, TRD Rear sway bar and bar in front of that GT Spec, CB set up (poor man's radar detector) - those bars made it rail like, then the V rated tires and bigger foot print of the 16 inch rim made it even more like a go cart, about 50 mph around a 90 degree turn, yee freakin ha...

Worst so far - Ladder bar (bar under seats), Bar in front of that (half on sub frame half on frame) both GT Spec, hitch ( I mean, it is a Yaris, wtf a hitch fer ? / I did that for handiness, rather than GT Spec rear bar which was similar) Bars overall seem useless (except the hitch, but just above useless).....

Up and coming - coil overs, and then play with brakes, then performance upgrades, starting with a home made cold air / stock filter set up

I've done 3 mods. So far I like them all.

1. Weathertech All Weather mats.

2. AFE dry filter.

3. Silvania Silverstar Ultra. Much better night ision than the stock lights.

Pending.

I got a Cruise Control stalk and a Clutch Switch coming my way. I also bought the panel with the pre-cut hole from my local dealership.

Tints.

Sway bar.

And not a mod, but more out of necessity, I also put on Toyo observe G02 Snow tires. I went one size smaller, down to 185 65 14 from 195 60 15. They drive great in the snow, but they scare me a bit on the highway. Never felt the side pulling that I feel now when I had the 15's.

For me the best mods were the pulley set, lightweight flywheel and aftermarket clutch, plus the lightweight aftermarket wheels. Totally changes the car.

worst mods: Tom's fuel map controller (DOESNT FUCKING WORK IN AMERICA)

best mods: Tooter manifold spacer: moar low power, idle shaking rpm is lowered as well as DFCO cutoff. JDM rear discs + full SS brake lines: rear discs look amazing and SS brake lines make braking on a dime something you can trust.

worst mods: diy precut window tint. yeah yeah...i was naive when i first got the car, ebay for like 40 bucks. Never got it to stick. $150 at a local shop did all the windows minus windshield for me.

Best Investment: Rear Roof Spoiler
Really improves the visual appearance of the car, and for $100, pre-painted to match the colour of the car, it was a bargain.

Worst Investment: Spinning Wheel Covers
One of them is pretty scratched-up, another one had the inner, independent wheel fall off and I accidentally managed to break off one of the retaining ring holders on a different one.

Worthy Investment: Centre Console Armrest
Adds a bit more comfort when shifting.

3M Clear Bra on the hood, fenders, and bumper....I have 75,000 miles on my 2010...freeway miles which are worse for chips etc. However, the front of my Yaris looks like the day I bought it. Good investment.

Rear Sway Bar - Improved handling.

Toyota Arm rest - functional but ugly. An aftermarket arm rest may be better.

Converted pulsating wipers to variable speed via Prius stalk... I have an extra one if anyone is interested.

Cruise Control - works great but I don't use it as much as I should....

Worst investment: Street coilovers and rear sway bar. It just doesn't offer any financial benefit, just heaps of fun.
Best investment: regular oil changes and the tools to service my car. Self explanatory

Have to add to my worst investments: CCI Stage 3 Clutch Kit

Does not support anywhere close to hp/tq claimed. I wouldn't use this on any builds exceeding 10-11psi and around 220hp/tq.

CCI claimed verbally with me by one of their engineers that the stage 3 they sell should be good for up to 400hp/350tq. Mine gave out at roughly 250/250 and I don't do hard launches nor hard shifts generally.

Just added LED fog lights from Amazon, Hikari H11
They are 4 times brighter than my low beams that are 2 years old.
Today, I'm getting the H4's for said low/high beams, and another set of H11's for the wife's Camry so she can try em out.
They are IP68 which is good in the low country, submersible up to 3' (hope not that much) and a 2 year warranty and DOT compliant so no big brother issues.
Awesome, no more Halogen for me most likely.
(average low beam about 1200 lumens, 2200 for high beams)
(These claim to be 4800 lumens each bulb, and look like about right)

Best Investment:
Weathertech 3D floor liners. These things are wicked! The fit and finish is perfect as far as I'm concerned.

Worst Investment: Gumout fuel cleaner. Waste of money...didn't need it anyway.

Worthy Investment: JVC Bluetooth Stereo, Toyo Observe winter tires (the ones with the crushed walnut shells...awesome traction!)
