Just cut it in half at one of the weld points.
That would make shipping way cheaper.

^ That will work if you mark it in at least two spots at the joint where you cut it. It must be re-assembled EXACTLY as it was for good fitment of a new one.

Just nick a straight line along the axis of the pipe with a grinding wheel so that the mark can't rub off, then cut across the line. You'll be able to rotationally index the parts perfectly.

i think you can ship it as a whole... i think you can wrap it un bubble wrap and then the paper shipping wrap and ship it that way... i can measure it length wise but figuring out the width will be kinda hard
