OK, another question...will these lower springs require new shocks?

Well they will when your stock ones bottom out in a couple of years or sooner, Thats what happens when you lower your car with just the lowering springs and stock shocks.

I ran the DF's on my Yaris for sometime on my stock shocks with no problems

with 205/50R15 tires my car was exactly 3 inches lower than my wife's bone stock yaris
