hmm...Anyone checked for rear sway bar mounts yet?

On their liftback...?

Just saying, becasue I know the Matrix/Corolla's share a similar torsion bar rear suspension setup as the Yaris and TRD makes a rear sway bar for them...

Someone see if theres a place to mount this:

Wish I could check myself, but my Yaris won't be in until sometime in November...

That's a good question, I was also wondering if there were rear sway bars available.

I have seen an upper strut bar installed, you just pop the plasic covers off in the "trunk" and there ya go... no real need for a rear sway bar with a solid rear dead axle

Can you get me some measurements off the bar? I will be happy to take a look-see.

An upper rear shock mount brace will help counteract chassis flex. A sway bar acts to offset chassis lean. I sure would be interested in the results of the 'look see'

after looking under our LB last night there isn't alot of choices for a swaybar off another car.

the rear suspension is different than other Toyotas.

Progress Rear Sway Bar Pre-Order

Progress have completed development on the Yaris rear sway bar. It's a completely new bar (different from Scion but similar design). I'm hosting a pre-order special on these right now:

I'll try to get some pics of the actuall Yaris bar, all they had are generic pics of other bars and when I visited the Yaris wasn't in the shop.

You can read up on their products here:
