Using your fingers and starting at the bottom, pull of the two vertical black pieces next to it.

Then, Pull the radio trim straight back. Finally pull the HVAC controls straight back as well.

If you want to remove the knobs, be very careful when releasing the tabs on the back that hold them on, as they are quite brittle.

Not at all for getting up to the last step. It's just removing the knob assemblies where quite a few people have not realized that you can't flex the plastic too much or will snap. If you know that going into it you won't have an issue.

are you talking about removing the tabs that hold the knobs to the panel, or removing the panel (containing the knobs) from the dash? i mean, which one has those brittle tabs.

Thanks a lot, as i'm planning to replace my knobs with knobs from the US, etc one of these days (for aesthetics only).

Why Pink? If you wanted to re-sell the car not everyone would like PinK? (Just curious) -
and I would never try to remove it coz with my luck, mine would snap.

Who cares about resale? lol.

I plan to drive my yaris until it turns into a pile of iron oxide.

Fair enough - I did that with my last car and it ended up costing too much in repairs, so I shall keep my new Yaris for 3-4 years max. and then likely trade her in for a newer model - IF they keep making them that long that is?

She also said she wants to plasti dip it. If she ends up selling, she can easily peel the pink off, and voila....back to stock.
