We did it, we got another Yaris, it's a white 07 Sedan. We got it for $11,600 and some change. I wanted brand new but, my husband didn't want to spend anymore money or have a car payment, it would of been only $3000 more to get a brand new 09. But he had $7000 cash to put down. Ended up putting the rest on a line of credit. They gave us $500 for our POS 95 caravan. But anyhow we got a another Yaris. It's is the base model, so nothing special. It has 13,400 miles on it. We just got it yesterday. I posted a picture in a post below this one.

Yep, welcome to the 2 Yaris club. I tried to talk my husband into the sedan, but he got a LB, too. Sounds like you got a fair price and low miles as well.

Maybe he will join this forum also! If he does, what would he use as a sign on?

He is not a car buff like me, he'll just be on mine. The only that was added to his was a TRD air filter and that's it he doesn't want any mods, he just wants the car the way it is.

It's OK my husband is the same way. Got him the Blazing Blue like yours. He thinks it's fine the way it is, too. Did get tint, mudguards and bumper protector from the dealer, but he doesn't get why I say he needs wheels. He has hubcaps for pete's sake. Isn't it obvious he needs wheels? What guy turns down new wheels?
Any way I bought some, very nice in hyperblack. He says I can put them on mine and he'll just take the Toyota alloys that came on the Bayou Blue. Don't even get me started on the springs. The Bayou has NF's and I got DF's for the Blazing. Let's just say one day when I keep his car the wheels and springs will magically appear on the car. I figure his is the guy car and the manual it should look like a guy car. He won't say anything once it's done and I know he'll like it better although I am sure he'll never admit it.
welcome to the extended family of 2 YARIS households . We too have two , both '08s . One is BARCELONA RED sedan with the automatic ( hers ) and the other is the BLAZING BLUE 2 door L.B. with the 5 speed manual . Both get about the same miles per gallon , averaging 38 m.p.g. overall . Since colder weather and the winterblend of gasoline have arrived it's dropped nearly 3 m.p.g. :frown: . The sedan now has 4 studded snows as well . That doesn't help with fuel economy . Enough for the rambling . ENJOY

Usually in relationships one person takes the lead in the car part of things. The only thing my wife has to do is turn the key. However, I seldom do any cleaning.
