It was -10 yesterday when I started the Yaris. It started fine but the rear window defroster took a long time to clear the window. What is the coldest temperature anyone has started the Yaris?

This morning it was -19. My stock cd-radio had no display till it warmed up.

The Yaris is great at cold weather starts. Always a quick turnover.

Been -35C for a few days here. Yaris started like a champ. Didn't even plug her in. No doubt the syn oil had a lot to do with it. Clutch was pretty stiff though.

I live in Anchorage alaska. i bought my '09 Yaris because of its cold start ability.
coldest its been in the 3 days i have owned it, has been 8*F i think. it started no question, no complaint.
i had a TDI vw before. thing didnt start worth a darn even in 15* F weather. i am glad to see that this car had no qualms starting even in the depths of the freezer.
