I got raped on the APR but my credit scores up to like 670 since(myfico.com couldn't even give me a credit score when i got the yaris cause i didn't even have enough credit, lol), so i'm gonna refinance before 07, probaly get around 10% or so.
It was kinda spur of the moment. I went in looking at a 99 civic, then it was sold so he showed me a 03 sentra, 02 accord. Then the yaris.

Don't they offer dealer financing in the US? 17%.... You might as well have put it on a credit card and got some sort of points.... In Canada the rate is 5.9% over 60 mths...
Consider $350 X 60= $21000 - $13852= $7148
$7148 in interest.. you're half way towards paying for another Yaris...

I know, its pretty sad. My aurora was going to shit tho, even at 104k miles.
It was dealer finance btw. The average for US new car APR is like 6% or something, but thats for people that have like 5 years of good credit history.

Damn sorry to hear that.. you should consider talking to your bank and having a line of credit issued.. it'll be a lot better than paying such huge interest charges... In any case.. congrats on the purchase!!

Well, if i refinance after trading in the warranty @17%, payments are 310, with what my fico score says for 10% payments are 265, so yea, i'd say i need to refinance lol.

That int rate is HURTIN man! Sorry to hear about that.
I hope you can get that lowered after some time, as you say.
All the best there... I couldnt/wouldn't even have gotten my Yaris had I had that interest rate.
Was just relooking at Toyota's website, and now on 07's leasing rate is 6.5 instead of the 6.9 I paid, and I'm just like DAHUMMMMM , even that % cheaper = enuff savings
