LOL  NO and that was really the reason for ditching the "s" kit , and for the record they were rear rocket launchers

I must say, if Batman were to ditch the Tumbler to save on gas and squeeze in tight places, THAT would be the car for him. I LOVE IT!

awesome look bro! tell me , is your sideskirts lower than the bottom of your car at all? what i mean is do they go further down the body than the car's underbelly ? did you feel any differences in acceleration with the kit on ?

Next step ditch the TRD wheels!

Next step ditch the TRD wheels!

Im having the trd stickers removed , powder coating the rims gold , then installing racinghart center caps on them , cause they are racinghart Gt5's that were re-badged for trd. In the current color they are just too common but will look differnt/better after I gold them out . Saving money for the blitz S/c not another set of rims right now:thumbsup:

woah, I think this this the first time we properly see this diablo kit, and even with these murky pictures, it goes real well with your car!

I've seen these wheels in a flat gold finish here, I say got for it, it'll look awesome!

I know exactly how you feel. I have a JDM RS rear waiting to go on mine once the support comes in.

Car looks great by the way.

Thanks man , and good choice on the "rs" rear , I really like the look of the jdm front and rear bumpers + they are shorter/closer to the car which really makes the yaris look even smaller and kinda give it a "euro" look too Imo.

Daytime shots will be posted later

Ummm those pictures were taken with a Nikon D-40 ,but its running stock flash and it was taking really dark pictures last night so I was tring a differnt setting last night(first time shooting night pics with this camera, dont laugh I'm tring) . No upgraded flash+ no tri-pod = fail for night pics

The only real look I'm going for is the "No rocket packs" look . I'm excited to see what it will look like plus I might do something a little different with some CF but I'm not entirely sure yet. Get some day times of yours up already :)

How was the fitment and overall quality of the kit? I've looked at it, but the pictures on the sites that sell it show little gaps and separations and uneven lines....

Yeah , the fitment is "o.k" right now at best , looks pretty good but not perfect . I got the bodykit from another member on here and it was already painted the same color as my car so i just installed it for now . I plan on getting the whole kit re-painted real soon and before paint i'm gonna get the fitment dead-on .

I'm seriously considering this kit...minus the rear bumper because my exhaust won't line up with the outlet. Could you take some pictures with natural daylight so I can see the contours and whatnot? I'd appreciate it, dude :D

Here Ya go ! What exhaust do you have ??? I'm running hks hi-power and it kicks up and to the right and it clears the opening.

I've got the Fujitsubo Wagolis. Mind-boggling sound. It still makes me all weak in the knees and neck when I open up the throttle. It's a weird piece, too, because the sound changes depending on how hot it gets; like when I start it up, it's almost as quiet as stock. But after I've been driving it for like 20 minutes, then it has this beautiful throaty tone to it. I'm uploading a video on youtube right now. Check out the aftermarket exhaust thread for the link in like 20 minutes to hear it!

Nice bro , I've always been an HKS whore so , Thats why I'm running it on the yaris + i think chinocharles is the only other person on YW whos running Hks .

03-17-2009, 10:49 PM
Haha, yeah, I know how that goes. That's why I've started to build up a collection of HKS parts for a 4age I'm buying soon. Who knows what car that little engine will go into.
Do you have any other exhaust upgrades? I ask because I'm interested to see if/how other components change the sound. Like that whole Nito midpipe thing.

I'm runnin megan header - Nitto mid-pipe -Hks hi-power axle back . Funny thing is I pulled up to my friends house and they said my yaris sounded crazy loud , like I did a b16 swap , lol . I really don't hear any differnce in the sound inside the car, it sounds a little deeper and a few db's lower :iono: but it must sound crazy from the outside cause all my friends have been commenting on the sound and I've been getting "rev'd on" and all kinds of people tring to race me in the last couple days , Wtf ???
