I recently puchased a 2009 black lb 5spd and it is awesome! This is my first NEW car and I'm glad its a Yaris. I have already added window tint, as well as a TRD air filter. I have a lot of plans for my new car; maybe crack open the headlights for some black paint, lowering springs, TRD accessories... only time will tell.

I have traditionally been a Honda guy, but I once owned an MKIII supra turbo. My previous vehicle was a K-swapped civic hatchback (the Yaris isn't quite a 12 second street car, but I'm happy).

I've been looking through this forum for the past week and there is still so much I want to know about my new car. I guess step one would be reading the owner's manual...

I'm looking forward to updating about any modifications as well as posting on other threads.

Thanks, Gimp

Welcome, Gimp (do you know how seldom you can say that without getting in trouble?)
I also have a black 09 LB 5spd. My second new car as the 07 LB I had got totalled a couple of weeks ago. <sigh>
This is agreat place to hang out, but keep your sense of humour handy. Although no-one here plays rough.

Thanks! I'm sorry to hear about your previous car, but I'm glad to see we have chosen the same chassis- nice choice

I'll be sure to keep my sense of humor within reach...

Be careful. Modding is like potato chips. You cant have only just one. Once you start you cant stop.

the supra was also real wheel drive.. a completely different car alltogether. NA takes it for me, not to say the 7mgte wasn't fun

I'm definitely no stranger to mods.. I guess you can say I've been "bit by the bug"

The sky isn't the only limit- my wallet.
