After popular demand.... jk.

Rings needed to be filed to curve perfectly to the dash.

*Don't mind the excessively large tach near the shifter. Got it from a friend. Temp set up, but it still works for me.

I'm jealous of anyone with a Yaris that RUNS, at the moment...

I think he got them from Summit Racing. www.egauges.com is also a good source.

He should do a DIY -- after they actually WORK...

These pictures are beautiful. They are a record of what the setup looks like before the oil line comes loose and squirts hot oil all over the back of the steering wheel.

J/K Peter. It's a clean looking setup.

Woah... is that the tach down in the storage space in front of the shifter?

I have an electric oil pressure gauge ya jerk! ;)

thanks for comments. For the record, garm was the inspiration and Garm isn't jealous of ANY yaris.

Autometer Cobalt series guages. Rings are called Angled Rings. Got all gauges and rings from summitracing.com. I would have bought them from garm but he didn't have the one I needed in stock. Support microimage!

UPDATED pics of lit up on first post. Hard to make out gauges true colors in pics. So I uploaded a video clip also!!!!!!!

as of now boost/vacuum and wideband gauges are fully functional. Will hook up oil pressure sometime soon!

WHAT? We went over and over this. You were insisting on a mechanical oil pressure gauge. I'm glad you got the electrical one. Did you use a sandwich plate to mount the sensor?

Looking good

BTW, do you think the tach would fit in the same spot as the gauges?

I can't answer that. My tach is a 5 or 6" tach. Possibly if you got a 3" one it would fit. Garm has a picture of his recent gauge setup in his turbo thread and shows his 4 gauges in the glove compartment and one of them is a bigger gauge. I believe it's a 3"?

Anywho, depends how deep those tachs are that you want to get. You'd need to get measurements of a tach you had in mind and measure the depth of the glove compartment.

No I did not. I am going to try and fit it in the head in place of the stock sensor. If it doesn't fit, then sandwhich plate it is.

I've thought about doing this once I start modding my dwarf, but I was thinking about doing an recessed cutout with a cover to hide them when the car is parked. This looks great, though!

No, the AEM a/f is the same size as the others.

I know it will fit there, that's how I did mine. Now go make the pretty lights FUNCTIONAL

Tidy install. Well done.

Looks like it was meant to be there.

How does opening and closing of the glove compartment take place now, if at all?

PETERPOOP

It can still function. However, you can't fit anything very big in there. I won't be putting anything in there from now on.
