I bought a 2007 Yaris 4 door automatic silver sedan with a few miles on the ODOMETER, brand new from dealer show room with floor mats for $13,700 out the door (tax, tag, title, the works). The sale price before tax, tag and title was $12,800 (well below MSRP sticker of $13,497). Doc fees were $400, but I DID NOT PAY IT. Plus, I live in the SE states, so I paid INVOICE for a 4 door sedan. Beat that!

sounds great....hope you enjoy it to the fullest:thumbup:

On a side note did you settle for an auto or did you want it? Just asking because i drove an auto sedan and I could not get over how much of a dog it was....plus poor shift points compared to my stick.

I wanted an automatic. I'm one of those "can't drive and change gears at the same time" kinda people -- and haven't driven one in years quite honestly.

I've noticed a few dealers around here advertising discounts on sedans.

Mine had 4 miles also. The dealer said something about it is 3 miles from the docks to the loading trailsr and 1 more mile at the dealer when it comes off the truck

Wow...I didn't think they'd be letting them go so cheap this soon. That was a very good purchase.

I am a long time fan of the manual trans.. But for me this is a trip / commuter car.. Auto-trans was the way to go.. besides for fast I've got my bike.

Well, gas prices are coming down and the bottom line is -- this IS an entry level car, so UNLIKE the Prius, they can't keep these artificially high and expect to sell these cars to the "entry level" crowd. They are better off discounting the Yaris now before the used ones start showing up on dealer's lots (which I'm predicting will be in Springtime '07). This way they get a lot of us who can't wait to buy NEW rather than to BUY used -- like I normally do.

one dealer around here thinks the yaris is one hot POS! they have a 'used' one w/20 miles on it, 5spd convenience package black w/tan interior for $16,999 on carsoup! that is $3700 over stick, come on! i'm sure they'd come down but i think some sucker is gonna end up paying like $15k for it, too bad. i guess the term Used to them means some salesman taking it home for the night, beating the crap out of it, then deciding he doesn't want it and selling it back to the dealer 'used'.
