I traded in my 05 Scion xb on an 09 Yaris 3 door liftback stick in Blazing blue pearl. I must say that the ride calibration and hushed cabin are major inprovements over the box. I bought my yaris to get out from under my payment with the xB. I hope i car learn the ins and outs from you guys at this forum.. good bye scionlife hello yaris world

as for my reason for buying the yaris I bought the yaris because it will save my 50 dollars a month in due to the circumstances when i Bought the xB.
as for being rediculous I did it to save money i'm also the type that will always have a car payment thats just my nature. Comparison to the xB well the xb has alot more wind noise and a much harder ride. The xbs interior also feels cheaper and has alot of nasty plastics. I was considering a Smart car but the yaris has the same economy uses regular gas and has a real back seat and trunk.

well my first mod isn't really a mod but I need to find the OBD II port so I can plug in my scan guage. I kept my good headunit out of my xB. Pioneer double din with blue tooth phone and usb but im not up for tearing the radio out of the yaris just yet... Just going to enjoy it as is for a while with the exception of the scan guage.

all OBDII ports are in the same location ;) should be below the steering column, left side, below the lower dash portion

My stock stereo was in the yaris for about an hour and a half after I bought it. Congrats on the yaris!

I think i'm in for a real surprise when I calulate my mileage on fill up though it seems like its going to be awhile before i have to do that. I had it on the Highway last night what a great little highway cruiser I am very impressed. Compared to the xBs short gearing 3800-3900 at 75. Also the high beams are incredible, but it makes sense large headlight equal large light output.
