Just bought a 2009 Yaris 2 dr liftback. Its a silver pewter color, fog lights, keyless entry. Had dealer throw in cruise control, floor mats and mud guards to close the deal. Had the cruise and mud guards installed today. I really like this car so far. Its mainly for my commute and local running around. I have a Tundra for hauling stuff and Honda Accord for long trips.

So far a lot of fun to drive. I have a new bee question. Is there a switch which activates the dome to automatically come on when you open the drivers side door? Sorry for I should just read my manual.

Agreed. On the dome light itself. There is off, stay on and only on when opening the door and going off a few seconds after door is closed. Look at the the dome light for the switch.

If i got this right, look at the dome light switch and move it to "DOOR" location, that should do it, i think, oh and Welcome!

Found the switch...all is well. It could not have been more obvious. thanks for everyones reply.
