Has anyone else put a kayak rack on their Yaris Sedan?

I recently put a Yakima Kayak Rack (I take 2 to the river) on top of my 09 Yaris Sedan and I've noticed an approx 10% reduction in MPG (from an avg of 38-39 to 35).

The rack is low profile but I guess the drag is cutting down on my mpg's.

Still very happy though...Our 07 is averaging 38-39 after 31,000 miles (with a high of 49.1 and a low of 33.2)

The 09 only has 1700 miles on her and the 2 kayaks weigh about 100 lbs when loaded on top.

LOL....:thumbup:I wish I was from Maui...it's THE place I love the most on earth and have been there 14 times in my 53 years. I am originally from the NYC now live in the Hudson Valley about 1 hour North of NYC.
