My friend wanted to try out some new post processing stuff in Photoshop so we took some update pictures of my car with all my little new parts installed. (Except the harness, that was just mocked up, need to get harness bars before it's installed. :P

I really haven't gotten the chance to take any good shots of the car. Been real busy, but hopefully will get some soon.

Shoot, I washed and waxed my car today, tomorrow is nice and I'm not doing much. Will probably take some then. Need to before the car goes into winter mode.

Come to think of it, I wonder if my old 07 Bayou was sold yet?

Hmm...can't answer that one. I mean when I had my first Bayou from 2007 to mid 2009, I didn't notice anything. Paint on a car is 10x better than they used to be back in the day. Now I'm on #2 so new paint = can't answer that. Anyone have an '06 to clarify this?

With good care of any paint(wash/waxes) using good product, my car still looks good and they use a shit load of salt in my area too.

My 06 meteorite metallic is doing great in terms of color. Unfortunately the paint doesn't hold its own very well against chipping on the front bumper from small rocks.

Pics of the tail lights in reverse? How do they work, meaning, how do the reverse and signals look when lit up? Can you post pics? I really like these tails!

^ Maybe I am getting older but I like very a clean and subtle look. :) When I bought my Supra 10 years ago, I had gauges and such in it, then changed everything to a more clean look. Your car is nice too, and a very close second. :) Minus the spoiler and we have a tie. ;)

If you have pics, awesome! I would greatly appreciate it. :) Of any angle and how they look when brakes pressed, turn signals, reverse etc...

I can't wait to install the other few things to the car. The new stalk for the intermittent variable controller and some misc other parts.These tails are on the list too, if the lighting will be ok. You make a harness for this?

You made me think of my wiper mod.

The car is a pita to wash when the wiper won't extend, so, I cut the small plastic clip on it and it now works awesome. :thumbsup:

Yep, I saw it on MicroImage forums, and immediately had to do mine :laugh:.
Also doing the angle wiper mod, helps a bit from dust piling up on the wiper in the stock position.

I just purchased this Yaris Aug 2016, I'm surprised how well it is holding up for an 8 yr old vehicle, being in Canada where road salt is used in winter on icy roads! Some rust, but not too much, compared to my other car a Hyundai Accent.

I've been doing a little maintenance, especially undercarriage rust cleaning/proofing, I disabled the original DRL (inspired by other YW members) and added eagle-eye DRL/fog! Had to do a little handy work to mount the eagle-eye, they came individually, sorry no photos on the process, I wasn't sure how they were to turn up.

I also purchased the set of alloy wheels (OEM) from an ex-Yaris owner, they were pretty beat up/curb rashes, I had to refurbished and painted new colour, using Dupli-color wheel paint and clearcoat.

I removed the badges from the rear hatch, for easy cleaning/waxing.

if you use a cutting agent, buff, (clay bar glove works good too) wax, and polish it will blend in.
