I am in the process of purchasing a 2009 S Sedan with a 5 speed manual. It has the power package with 15 inch alloy wheels, the all weather package, carpeted floor mats, and keyless entry. This is "fully loaded" without any dealer installed options.
The MSRP on the car is $17,330. I offered $16,400 (which was accepted), and I am also receiving the recent college graduate rebate of $1000 since I graduated from law school in May. In addition, I qualified for 0% APR for 60 months which is an unreal financing offer. Before tax, title, and plates my final selling price is $15,400 financed over 60 months at 0%. My payment will be $256 since I will pay those fees and taxes out of pocket.
I think I might have been able to negotiate a slightly lower price, but with the recent college grad. rebate and the 0% financing this seemed like a steal to me.
I am a proud owner of a 2002 Echo with 167,000 miles. It has been very reliable, but it's getting a little rough around the edges with so many miles.
Anyone else recently purchase the S Sedan in a manual transmission? Apparently there aren't many available as I had to go with my third color choice (flint mica) after not finding the light blue or the silver.
If anyone has purchased a similarly equipted Yaris S Sedan with a 5 speed I would love to hear how good of a deal you got. Thanks!
