Would anyone happen to know if the mp3 player attacment is only available in the s version and also if the s trim was available in the 07 3 dr liftback?

With my 2 door HB the CD/mp3/WMA player was part of the "Convienece Package"

Standard is a CD only player.

In my base model 08 LB, the MP3 jack was included with the mandatory "cold weather" package for New England. Not sure what it or the 15" wheels and floor mats had to do with starting in the cold, but I am glad to have them.

The jack is in the center console and not in the head unit. Hitting the [CD] switch on the head unit 2x, enables the aux input.

Are you talking about the mp3 standard plug jack or are you talking about a USB plug?
