I think I like this, and I have a customer request for one. If there's any interest I could get the batch discount and pass it on.

I remember a post awhile back that listed shifting points based on MPH. For those without a tach what would be the best RPM setting for a stock motor, lightly modded, and so on? this a perfect solution to not having a tach IMO.

poorsha, the site explains that 7 LEDs are the most your peripheral vision can handle.

BTW, I'm not doing this for profit, whatever discount level we get, you get. There is a discount for 4 and again at 8 units. I'll handle all the forward shipping.

If we can get 8 people I think it's like $132. should fit in a flat-rate box at $5 shipping.

I'm going to contact them though about an official reseller account today, maybe we can do better.

Let's keep this up a few more days then make the order. Whoever is on the list gets the discount, leftover stock will go at retail.

^ It's not just fancy LED's, it serves a function.

Order is placed, hope to have them in stock soon for the Group Buy people.

wasn't saying it wasn't functional.

if all it did was light up with no regard to rpm, you guys would be paying a whole lot of money for 7 leds lol.

No but you're making a case that the product you posted is "better" in some way. I disagree, given the specific intended purpose of both products.

It may do "much more", but it doesn't do the same thing.

It may do "much more", but it doesn't do the same thing.

1. it lights up as a warning for both vehicle speed AND rpm (just not progressively)
2. it audibly warns you as well
3. it can calculate 1/4 mile times, 0-60 times

anyway, i'm sure your product will sell just fine. i'm not here to rain on your parade, that's why i edited my post and started another thread. :iono:

Cali yaris I think the ecliptech shift light can also do a lot of other functions, like check battery voltage and other diagnostic stuff. I read about it in an Australian car magazine. AFAIK it's made in Australia right?

Would have loved to order one for my Supra. My Yaris DD is 'matic :)
