I thought I remeber reading a discussion here that the stability control / trac could not be turned off on the 2010s. I stumbled upon this ebay listing which shows that this particular yaris sedan has an off option. Maybe its region specific?

So I went to investigate at the local toyota, and from peering in the car windows, all the sedans had the on/off button (manual or automatic) the hatches did not.

man the sedans get the cool stuff, before hatches do, like tach standard...
