I'm trading in my 2009 yaris 5 door automatic H.B. with power package & convenience package with 10,500 miles for a 2010 3 door
H.B. with the same features (MSRP is $15,823). Also comes with rear bumper protector and cargo net. I really wanted VSC and traction control. Dealer is giving me $11,750 for trade and also a discount of $750 along with the rebate of $750. Looking at KBB for trade in value it is only listed for $10,575 for good condition. Even edmunds is $11,300 for good condition. It seems like a fair deal to me. The 2010 is Blazing blue and the 2009 is meteorite metallic. Tough choice because I like both colors and styles .

For one model year and 10,500 miles you will be paying $2,573 for the features you want. Probably more if you add in Dealer handling, taxes, title, and plates. Usually buying and selling cars frequently costs a lot of money.
