new yaris owner, 1 question...

bought an '08 2 door std hatch with 15k on it.

My question is, there is a small silver(metal) thing with a very small red light that is next to the left door near the hood release

curious what it is, thanks!!

Sounds like an alarm LED. Does this car have a non-factory alarm system?
