I'm considering the purchase of a Yaris, here in Canada.

I have been reading and pondering over the Toyota Canada website for hours and tried to read as much on the matter as I could, but I can't figure out whether the ABS brakes and the VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) are optional or standard on the various models. (Wikipedia says they are, but that doesn't seem the case from the official website...)

I have been looking at the following (new) models:

2010 Yaris (Sedan) Automatic.
Yaris Hatchback 5-Door LE Automatic.

Am I right in thinking that I absolutely need to get either the "Convenience Package" or "Enhanced Convenience Package" if I wish for ABS or VSC?

(I honestly don't care for air conditioning, cruise control, keyless entry, splash guards or heated mirrors, etc.) :help:

Edit: Should I have posted this in the Canadian regional forum? (Sorry for this piece of newbie-ness!)
