local yaris supply??

greetings everyone: i was just wondering how the local dealerships were doing with regard to their yaris liftback supply?? from the sounds of some posts, it seems that many dealerships still have very few liftbacks available. thats odd since one local dealer here has 21 liftbacks available in their online inventory. just a few months ago, they regularly had 2 or three. are dealers just getting more, or has the demand subsided since gas prices have leveled off since the summer...??

My local dealer had 2 liftbacks on the lot last week when I went in to get my oil changed, but they didn't have any sedans in stock.

the dealer i drive past regularly has had the same two hatchbacks sitting on the lot for 4 months

A couple of days ago local dealer had 5-6 sedans and ZERO LB's!

Have to go there now to pick-up Alloy wheel centers, so will check it out again.

OK, just returned from picking up Factory Alloy centers - FINALLY!!!

On main inventory lot there were: 5 - Sedans (One in beautiful Pacific Blue)
2 - LB's (one loaded, incl Security System)

In "BullPen" area (yet to be prepped): 1 - Sedan
2 - LB's (One loaded)

The LB's were in Red (2), White and Silver, and none were sticks.

The LB with the Security System had an MSRP of about $16,100.!!!

The dealership here in D'Ville has three sedans and three LBs. One of each was on the lot when we bought our BB LB back on 10/23. The salesperson told me then that sales of Yaris and Prius had slowed WAY down when gas dropped to near $2.00 a gallon this fall. Sales of Tundras, etc were up.

They can not keep any Yarii in stock here in Toledo, I was the first to purchase one here, yet I have yet to see another on the road, kinda weird... is everyone else buying their Yarii and hinding them in the garage here in Toledo?
