Replacing factory fog lights?

Replacing factory 2006 Hatch Fog Lights, a they have both been smashed by rocks. I bought them off of EBay and they told me it will be a direct fit, no wiring required, just pop out the old ones and pop in the new ones.

Anyone done this?

I did just the opposite and it worked fine. I had a set of aftermarket ones and picked up a set of real OEM ones from someone, so I swapped those in. Same connector, same mounting - No problem.

So it should really be that easy? The seller said there are no instructions as it is made for a direct fit.... Fingers crossed I guess!

The biggest pain is getting to them...

But I have one with a cracked lens that I have been meaning to replace for a while. I've even got the replacement from Garm, but since it's not leaking moisture in it (yet), I'm gonna hold off until it does.

I'm looking into getting a pair of bulbs off ebay, too. I'm looking towards getting some cheap no names http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350403656981&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT, but I'm not entirely sure whether I should go with a name brand or not. I'm also not entirely sure if I'm going to get the yellow bulbs or something brighter.
