I'm going to pick up my 2010 5DR hatchback, automatic, all power options, for $14,000.
It is, however, a certified used with >6,000 miles on it.

I don't think that the prices went up too much in 2 years. As I recall I paid about the same for a new 2008.

Yes, I have the 0% APR and I love when I make a payment, every bit of it goes towards the principal.

Seems fair to me. Mine came to $14,465 + TTL with the same options in Meteorite Metallic. Wish I would have told them to keep the mats, I added a set of WeatherTechs right away and love them.

I bought my 2010 5-door hatchback (absolutely red) on February 20, 2010.

It is automatic, 0% down, 0% APR, 60 months, $1k rebate, and I had a $1,500 trade-in...

It has warranty for 5-years or 100,000 miles (no extra cost)

It's my first car :) I think I got ripped off though... I desperately needed a car and I bought it all on my own the same day I saw it. I couldn't wait (lol). Then I succeeded at putting 500 miles on it within the first 3 days (ah ha ha). Then they called me back to tell me I wasn't approved for a loan, and I told them to give me my trade-in back LOL! They didn't like that. They told me they sold it, but some other guy stupidly said, "No we didn't." I was bluffing anyway. Long story short...

Total financed at $17,881.80...

I bought a new 2010 4dr sedan, 17 miles on odometer, in Delaware, with:
-automatic transmission
-power package
-weather package
-cruise control
-carpeted mats

$14,900 (with $1000 rebate)
+ taxes and tags (Delaware: $675)
+ $254 document fee
-----------------------
$15,825

I'm happy with what I paid.
According to truecar.com I got a slightly better-than-average-deal.

I'm relatively new to this forum. This is my first post.
I used the info I found here to negotiate the price on my new Yaris.
Thank you everyone!

I just bought mine yesterday, sticker 16,200, paid $15,200 - 1000 cashback OR 0% for 60 months...I took the financing....They are not moving much on the "sucker price" now that gas is $3.50+ a gallon, even on a leftover 2010...pretty much everybody said see the price...don't like it, walk....I still made them take a grand off...
Power pkg, all weather pkg, cruise, floor mats.

Welcome to both of you . We had the same experience in 2008 when we bought the '08 sedan . There was a shortage of YARIS due to the $4+ gas . Had to wait a week for it to arrive and they wouldn't budge much on the price .

When I bought mine, I went to the carmax.com site and checked what the discount they new carmax dealers were giving.

Here is a link on one that appears close to yours.

http://www.carmax.com/enus/view-car/default.html?AVi=0&id=6637071&N=4294966915+68+4294967007+4294966275+4294967089&D=90&zip=46237&pD=0&pI=0&pT=400&pC=200&pB=0&No=0&Ep=search:findcar:new&Rp=R&PP=20&sV=List&CD=14+966+240+190+398+15&Q=e85ac7a7-378f-426c-ae91-a9d6f86cfbf2

They quote a lower price. I would call the dealer you are working with and ask them for a similar discount. Call other dealers if the first one isn't coming down. One of them will.....especially is it is towards the end of the month. Try to find a salesman who is low on sales. They have quotas and will need to meet them.
