Have the chance to purchase a certified 2009 Yaris auto base sedan with power windows and locks - 29,000 miles at $9,998 / I'm looking to replace stock with TRD wheels and springs. Good deal? Any opinions please?

I would make sure that the oil has been changed 5 times. Certified doesn't much to me. I traded in a 92 Lexus with the transmission going out for my Yaris. A few days later the dealer listed the Luxus as "certified".

Comes with Toyota 100,000 mile powertrain warranty and has all service records. - Car is fine, just don't know about being a sedan.

Just over 2 years old average miles!! Sounds ok, are you paying for the extra warranty?? How many years?? I'm happy with my Hachbk!!

Sounds like a fair deal. Is it below book value? If so, why are they selling it for so cheap? There might be a red flag in there somewhere.

Could be but it does have a 100,000 mile warranty so that helps.

My only opinion here is not to get the TRD wheels. They are needlessly expensive and incredibly heavy. Your mileage and acceleration will plummet.

The Kelly Blue Book value on this is $12,720. So almost $3k under KBB. With gas prices so high, and demand for high MPG cars high, you have to be a little curious about the low price.

Also, for another 2 to 3 K, you could get a brand new Yaris. would go for the new one.
