Hello! First time posting here, and just had a question before I purchase. I am looking at buying a 2009/2010 4-Door hatchback soon in Blazing Blue, but had one question. I really want the All-Weather Guard package since I live in the north east so unless otherwise stated in the ad, How can I tell if the Yaris I am looking at has this package or not? Are there stickers on it somewhere that I can keep an eye out for or . . .? Is there a code and should the dealer know if it does or not if it is a used one? :iono: Thanks all in help with my purchase.

The car having a rear window wiper is a hint . We came across an used liftback in our area w/o the rear window wiper , a must in this region .

Should notice some anti chipping tape along the bottom of the car around the areas prone to chipping

I wondered what that was for!
I have that on my 09. If you can't get the sticker, then look under the front seats for the rear heating ducts

I think the rear wiper is part of the power Package?

Power windows,locks, remote keyless,mirrors,radio am fm/cd 15" wheels

" I think the rear wiper is part of the powerPackage? "
Quite sure it's part of the ALL WEATHER GUARD PACKAGE . We had a 2008 base model 3 door that we owned had the rear wiper and heating tape for rear window .

On the 09 5 door liftback the all weather package includes:
Rear window defroster
Larger washer tank with level indicator lamp
heavy duty heater
rear heater duct
Daytime running lights
Power package includes:
Power locks
Power windows
power outside mirrors
60/40 split rear seat
AM/FM/CD Player with MP3 and Aux Jack
on the 09 3 door the rear wiper and defroster were part of power package and the rear defroster was also part of the all weather package.
So, the best way with an 09 to tell if you have the all weather package is to check for daytime running lights or to check the under hood fuse box for the HTR SUB1 and HTR SUB2 fuses. If those two fuses are there, then it definitely has the PTC heater and therefore the all weather package.

I'm also sure it's part of the All Weather package, not the power package.

I think every car in the Northeast region has it whether you wanted it or not.
I could'nt find any without that option when I was looking for my Yaris in 2008...
I've also never seen a Yaris WITHOUT the rear wiper OR with factory 14" wheels either...

I vaguely remember the all-weather package also contains a heavy duty starter (need to go check my window sticker to be sure).

OK, I checked my sticker that I saved: This is for the 2010 Yaris.
The rear wiper blade is part of the Convenience Package.
The All Weather Guard Package is: ($70.00)
Larger Window Washer Tank with Low Level Warning Indicator Lamp
Heavy Duty Heater
Heavy Duty Starter
Rear Heater Duct

So where is the rear heater duct? Under the front seats? The rear wiper can come without the weather package I thought.

Yes, the ducts are under the seats. The passenger duct is closer to the console side of the seat. I know this cause I just mounted an amp for my front speakers under the seat and made sure I didn't block the vent. I also figured in the summer time with a warm amp and cold air blowing on it I might get condensation in the amp......not good! LOL

My 2010 3dr has the all weather pkg, power pkg and Automatic... but it seems the DRL was deleted? Anyway I am the Ahole in a 6 years old thread driving with my high beams on during the day because blazing blue matches the pavement and morons pull out in front of me otherwise!
the easiest way to figure this out is the rear heater and finding out where it was originally sold. If the car came from the northeast it will absolutely have it, they all did.
