I'm new here, my fiance and I just bought a 2009 yaris sedan yesterday( yes i got the power package) It has 37k miles on it, black ext black int. But I already ran into a problem. On our way back last night from the dealer 2 hub caps fell off, but we didn't notice til this morning. We already called the dealer and they are sending us new ones. But I've been having to pop the other 2 back in all day. Is this a common problem? And do any Yaris models come with actual alloy wheels or are they all steelies and hubcaps? Are there any cool things to know about the Yaris?

The "S" package comes with alloys, I believe. As for your hubcaps woes.....are these factory hubcaps? I have never had one come off....they fit very tightly and are tough to snap into place, so having them come loose/fall off is odd. If they are generic replacements then that is the problem.

They are generic replacements. I called the dealership and told them they fell off and they said they have a guy that comes to replace them that need it. They are pretty upset with him about it, they're having him ship them to me. But I want to throw some alloys on it anyway

First of all welcome to the forum, second if its Toyota hub caps they don't fall off because the cover it self is held down by the lugs and dealer should replace them with original hub caps but then again if your sedan is the S model it should have 15 inch alloy rim, follow up on that and let us know, good luck buddy

Hmmm....I can't speak to all Yaris', but I've owned an '09 & a '10 hatchback and both had steelies with hubcaps. The hubcaps are held in place by a snap ring, not the lug nuts. It sounds like a moot point since he wants alloys (so do I!).

dealership is going to call me on Monday. I'd like for them to send me genuine toyota wheel covers instead of the aftermarket. I'd really like to find a stock set of alloys but they are few and far between. I'll get some pictures posted of the car in a little bit.

Watch ebay. There are dealers selling these for $65 each or $200/set. Shipping c an be high, tho. I was fortunate that one of those dealers was relatively local (about 50miles) so I just drove over and had them install them as well.

yours looks just like the one i bought off of my sister last week... a 2008 with only 13,000 miles ( she hardley ever drove it they've got a BMW SUV and 2 really nice BMW sedans) except they put 16 inch clear coated alloy wheels on it and mine has keyless entry... im trying to find out where i should go to add the spoiler and full body kit ( find a toyota dealer or go to a custom body shop) plus add blue fog lights.. i might lightly tint the back windows too... ill put a pic up later
just took these pics today ... it was shining like crazy yesterday but i drove it all day and it snowed overnight so its dirty again >:-/

So you're here in San Antonio? I noticed the North Park Toyota license plate ring.
I know you're looking for rims; but there is a guy on Craigslist (http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/pts/2213030120.html) selling a set of Yaris wheel covers here in SA for $40.
As for rims, I would check Discount Tire. They've got a good selection and some great prices!
Cheers! M2

I'm about an hour north of San Anotonio on 281, Marble Falls. Yea North Park sent us another set of wheel covers and they wouldnt fit right. So I'm having my salesperson see if she can get us factory yaris wheel covers, if not I'm getting factory alloys somewhere.

And those are the exact wheel covers I want. Thank you, I emailed him.

That's a nice area, we take 281 north whenever we go to Austin or Ft Hood, I hate driving on IH-35 in my Yaris. It's where I got a stone chip in my windshield not long after I got my car. Plus, it's a more pleasant, enjoyable road as compared to the interstate.
Why'd you go to SW SA to buy your Yaris? Was it that great of a deal? I got a spare valet key for my Yaris at North Park because I work nearby on Lackland AFB, it cost $14 and I swore I'd never go back after such a fleecing!
Cheers! M2

Nice car!
I do a lot of field work in Marble falls, TX, I really like the place :D
enjoy your car in the best of health, and get her some nice wheels if you know you'll be careful and won't curb them

It was the closest dealership that had one. Neither one of the Toyota dealers in Austin had a Yaris. And this was the only one they had with the PP.

Like it! Just a slight drop to give it the right stance, Maybe 1.2 front and 1.4 back!! Springs?

First of all, anticipate where stretch marks might appear. If you’ve just found out that you’re pregnant, then your abdomen and breasts are the areas to treat. If you or your child is near puberty, then the places to anticipate scars from fast growth are the breasts, hips and buttocks in girls, and the upper arms, hips and thighs in boys.

i was thinking the same thing but havent dropped it yet... i just put a little less air in the front tires than i got in the back till i do
i accidently scraped that black plastic piece in the front under the bumper when you park too close to the curb... and im looking for the part online so i can put it on myself... but i don't know the name of it or where i can get it... i think its called a plastic air dam or under engine cover... anybody on here know what it's called and where i can get it online
Those rims really go well with the black  .
u like??
