Alright folks, I need your expert opinion. I was at a stealership yesterday to buy a new Yaris.

They advertised it for $12,588 after rebates that accounted for the $1000 financing rebate and the $1000 recent college rebate.

I thought I it would be closer to $10,588 after the rebates... are advertising really that deceptive?

I did not pull the trigger but how is $12588 after rebates.. and do think I can wiggl

I don't know the options....but mine had a sticker of 16,150.....they advertised it at 14,200 with all "rebates" but after doing the math...I choose to take the 0% instead of
the "extra $1000" as far as wiggle room...so I paid 15,200 w/60mos@0%...almost all the dealers pointed to the price, and said don't like it find it somewhere else. Gas prices are running the show now! Tax, lic, GAP..OTD $16,980...I have power pkg $1,500, all-weather$70, floormats$200, cruise$250..Auto Trans....I have not seen a $10,000 yaris in my area unless it 2yrs old with 50K on it!

Thanks for the reply. I am thinking that price might be the best I can get now... sigh. I was hoping that the rebates bring down the advertised price.

With gas prices increasing, so will demand for the Yaris. Then there's that little problem with the earthquake/tsunami in Japan. I think you need to strike while you can, it's probably only going to get worse in the near future.
