im a NOOB! i got a 2007 toyota yaris and i have a few q's..

hey whatsup ppl ive been stalking this site for awhile it is awesome!

anyway i have a silver 2007 yaris base model sedan with some sweet 17 inch wheels and a afe cold air intake!

however i have a mass air code p0100. after checking all the wires checking the voltage, swapping the maf sensor for a new one, and CHANGING THE COMPUTER i still have a CEL UGH. i finally went to the toyota dealer, they said it MUST be the afe CAI ughhh whatever. i did get the intake used, but it was complete.

ill probably make a seperate thread about this issue. anyway this car is sweet, much zippier than i thought it would be, very fun to drive. Im glad to be part of the fam:thumbup:

Dry filter or oiled ? Oil filters cause problems no matter what k& n says. I have had issues with oiled filters on a Tacoma, yaris,and a prelude.

i think the air filter is dry, its an afe air intake the filter looks silver. maybe its just steel mesh? anyway, someone on the forum already got back to me to give me their stock airbox for a good price. hopefully that solves the problem.
