Yah so paying $600 per month in gas just to and from work wasn't happening anymore so decided to replace my 88 Bronco dd with the Yaris as a dd. For the $600 I get a new car/ insurance and plenty of gas money while actually paying for something.

I went with2 door, bare bones auto but was stuck with Bayou Blue which had to be brought in from Victoria BC to Surrey BC. That was the only one available locally, must be selling good.

I also have a 2007 F-150 I got to replace my 2001 XTerra which was written off a few months when someone decided to hit me head on BUT the wife wanted no part in me driving it as the bit... wants it all for herself

I'll be doing some after market stuff on the Yaris for a bit more extra power but nothing crazy body wise and 16" wheels.

I don't have side by side photos of the Yaris/Bronco but will get some in the next day but here's the Bronco and F-150.

So after a few days of driving here's what I think.

Handling is pretty good although there are times here and there that it seems to tight and slow but not too often.

Needs more low end torque for in town driving but on the highway it has pretty good power at 100-140km/h speeds. I can pass no problem even at 120-140km/h.

Now hard part is deciding which car to put money into. I've been wanting to install fibreglass quarters and a fibreglass flip front end on the Bronco to remove the typical rust areas for good but now 2K or so that would do some nice things on the Yaris. Damn decisions.

After 4 days of driving I'm still on 3/4 of a tank at about 475km. With the Bronco I'd would have had to fill up at 360km for a nice deal of $110.
