Talked my son into a 2010 Yaris

Well I have had mine for a while now and love it. Went from a really nice 2008 Tacoma 4x4 gas guzzler..
He had a 97 Mazda protege with 181k+ miles on it. Needless to say it was falling apart. So we went down to Toyota and got a heck of a deal on a Metallic 2010 Yaris, 5 speed base model...

On mine I finally got my center console installed.. Why the heck don't they have this stock ?

Surprised you got such a good deal with gas at $4/gal and the Japan crisis directly effecting Yaris production.

Only problem is that this is in the wrong forum. Not a big deal but most people won't see it here in the 3rd gen (2012) Yaris forum.

Welcome and enjoy . You may want to exchange the tranny fluid in 5,000 miles or so with REDLINE MT-90 ( GL-4 , 75w-90 ) or AMSOIL MTG ( GL-4 , 75w-90 ) and you'll notice a big difference in the shifting . Here's their tranny oil , AMSOIL MTG https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/mtg.aspx and the REDLINE MT-90 , http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=46&pcid=7 . Takes little less than 2 quarts . So , $30 or less gear oil change if you D.I.Y.. Very easy .
