Just got a 2004 Yaris T2, silver, 30,000 miles
£4000!! ($7000ish)

Not bad considering im 17 and its my first car!!!

Only issue is the door speakers arn't working :frown:
Going to look at elctrifying the windows and putting in remote central locking!

There wasn't the owners handbook. Does anyone happen to know if theres any available online etc? I've been flicking through my neighbours avensis handbook. A lot of the Toyota interfaces are similar, but it'd be nice to see the one for my car!

Not sure about that. In the US we got the new generation of the Yaris. We got the early gen as the Echo, but it was only the sedan.
If taking the doors apart is anything like the current generation, installing the electric locks is a breeze with the correct kit. Take a look the DIY book; in there you have a uide on how to take the panel off in the current gen Yaris and (sort of) DIY guide for the locks. For the locks I can help you out since I recently did my own power locks.

Welcome to the forums. Can't really help you on your generation of Yaris though. Hopefully someone else here can.

Try ebay.

I downloaded a factory manual for the Yaris before I realized it was for the earlier version. I think I found it on the forums at: http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=26
