And after 2000km it is better then I expected. Enough power for me. Nice to handle. I did not think I will like the center cluster, but I actually prefer it. Good size trunk which I need. Could not be happier.

My few upgrades:
Undercoating, rust proofing (inside the doors), Diamond finish and fabric protection
Installed aluminum wheels as I could not stand the wheel covers.
Installed custom painted body side moldings.
More powerful head lamp bulbs.
Installed fog lamps.
Installed cruise control. Just like the factory, even the icons on cluster work.
Ordered LEDs for all lights except backup lights. Weathertech cargo mat.

Regards to all. Glad I found this forum a wealth of information.

Here is couple pics.

Nice, I have a black sedan.

Sounds like you quickly upgraded what they should have had standard, although I don't mind having my foot on the gas for several hours.

Are those 15 in wheels?

You should tint the windows.

Rear Anti-sway bar makes a good difference too.

The headlight lids look tasteful too.

Thanks,

I love black cars but must admit I do not have the stamina to keep them clean.

Yes the wheels are 15 inch.

I was considering the eye lids, they make car look nice. However my wife wants her’s done first, get it.

I bought my body side moldings custom painted and as soon as I find eye lids painted in my color I will get them. Anti-sway bar would be nice as well. Do you have any good suppliers I could order them from.

Happy motoring.

Just an update about the headlight bulbs,

Replaced the stock bulbs (adequate and likely will last for long time) with GE Nighthawk Platinum and was pleasantly surprised. Nice white light with excellent improvement with side visibility. Always was cautious to turn corner in an unlit condition. These lights made all the difference. Then I came across PIAA Intense White and could not resist buying them. Much the same brightness, but no blue tinge on low beam. Definitely whiter color temperature. PIAA Intense White also have well defined shade on low beam as not to blind oncoming traffic. Hopefully they will last longer as well. Both were improvement over the stock bulbs.

Hey, TickleTimeTim nice car. One question though, why are you having the towing eye installed? I have to paint my red as well. Although it will be in the boot.

Today I decided that my Sedan needs little performance look. Took the afternoon off work and welded up an exhaust tip. Had some 304 and 316 stainless scraps around the shop so figured that will be a nice touch.

Like the little cars with a big canon sticking out from the back. I will post some photos tomorrow.

The longer I own this Yaris the more I like it. :burnrubber:

Took longer then I anticipated. But I had lot of fun making the exhaust tip from scratch.

Here are some pictures.

That looks quite tasteful. Does it sound any different? How much did you charge yourself per hour?

Thanks, I am somewhat proud of it. Just got a TIG machine a year ago.

No, it does not sound any different, as whole exhaust is stock. It is strictly cosmetic.

Fabricating it was mostly occupational therapy. I could likely purchase it for fraction of the cost should I applied the shop rate. The stainless material would be around $18.
