Just got rid of my stock Goodyear LS tires(33000 miles) and bought the Hanook H727 from Tirerack.com The ride so much smoother and quieter too. I will give them 500 or so miles before I check out handling, but I'm betting they will be better than the LS's by far! (Gotta give it time to get rid of factory tire goo) 30 bucks per tire cheaper than any place locally. With shipping they are still 28 bucks cheaper when ya figure in sales tax I would of had to pay. By the way...thats per tire.......

Yeah, without thinking I got 185/60-15. Should gone to 195 or 205. I know 195 would fit stock steelies, I've heard 205 would to, but didnt think about in time. Besides, I'm into the mileage thing too, so thinner is better for that. And we get a fair amount of snow at times and thinner is better for that too. But wider would have been better looking, lol

I've heard good things about the Hankook Optimo H727.
The price is very good for 185/60/15's at discounttiredirect.com
... $78 each delivered to your door. Plus, discounttiredirect currently has a $50 + $30 = $80 discount, so just $58 each!

I'm the wrong one to ask about that. Wonder if tirerack would show if they fit?

^ Those will fit fine on your steelies, which have a very high offset.

Found this....says its OK. http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp it says 5.5 to 7.5" wheels for the 205/55-15
Also shows me mph difference. Now I wish I would have gotten the 195 even more. My speedo reads about 2-3 mph faster than what I'm actually doing. by going to a 195, it would have cut that down to about 1-1.5 mph difference. Going to a 205/60 would have made the speedo about dead nuts perfect. And cut the tire revolutions from 870/mile to 815, which means longer tire life and possibly better mileage. hmfff....course more tire means more drag so who knows. Tire patch would have been about .8 in wider. cost of the tire goes up too by 12 bucks a tire.
