To all,

I just purchased these O.Z. Ultraleggra on impulse. They're Matte Graphite Silver, 16x7 with 37mm offset, and weigh in at 15lbs. They come with some DOT Competition Compound YOKOHAMA ADVAN A048 225/45/16.

This is what it should look like on the 2012:

I wanted to get the Tein Basis Coilovers first but... impulse killed that.

What do you think?!?!

I really like the design. They actually remind me of eTimago's white wheels (17" he had on before) and I liked those a lot too. Something about this design really rocks. How much did those set you back?

(BTW, hello from San Francisco)

Thanks for all of the input. I really appreciate it. Will get pix up when I have them on!

Wheels and tyres were $725 shipped. The tyres have really low life left....

Wicked. I'd hit it.

Thems some sticky tires. Are you planning on track days or autocrossing?

Nah, no racing. It comes with the wheels. I just wanted the rims. The guy I bought it from says he tracked them. Looks basically new so I went for it and bought it.

Yeah, I've had two sets now that I've bought or traded and changed out the tires. My Mini wheels came with God awful run flats, but Lord they were sticky. Heard pebbles all the time.

Cheaper than buying new though.

So how much should I sell my OEM 16x6 wheels for? I'm probably gonna take the tmps and sell the tires with the wheels... all have about 800 miles on them.

215/55/16 are huge tires, stick to 195/50/16, 205/45/16, or if you really want 215mm wide - 215/45/16.

But to your question, with the tires I mentioned above and the offset of your wheels, no problems when lowering 1".

With 16 x 7, ET37 and 1" drop, I'd run 195/50/16's.

Aw.. That's what I'm running on now with the stock oem rims... Wanted to go 215/45/16 but I'm pretty sure it'll rub, would 205/50/16 work? I want a slightly wider track.

215/45/16 will most likely rub, but it'd be close. If you want to be a guineau pig, let us know. :)

205/50/16 may rub because it's taller than stock. Try 205/45/16's if you want 205mm wide.

My stock oem rims are 16x6 running on 195/50/16. The O.Z. are 16x7 with 37mm offset... I'll still rub with 205/50/16? Again, will most likely get the Tein Basis or the Tanabe Sustec Pro S0C Coilovers next month with 1" drop. Can't decide which one yet... Thanks!

205/50/16 is what usually people do.

My friens Yaris w/ SSR 4 spoke wheels, he has been running Bridgestone 205/50/16s on it. Looks meaty and 205 is the best width imo, but if you are going extreme, then you may want to do wider. He also on dropped on TEIN coilovers adjusted to 1.5 all around and it doesnt rub. I've driven it for about a week when my car was in the shop for a month long mod.

Do these need centering rings for these?
