If all goes well should pick up my first Yaris in the next week or so. A friend has offered to sell me his 2010 Yaris 2-door HB with 5-speed and all manual controls. I'll post pics and detail soon and then let the mods begin!!

Thanks, the list of Toyotas owned is closing in on 10 total, some I never even got to drive, it's a long story. Great cars and trucks with very little maintainence required, have put over 200,000 miles on several examples, all pain free!

Should pick up my new to me 2010 Yaris this weekend, current owner is having new front tires, an oil change, tune up done before I take delivery. Can't wait to get this car, since he's owned it he has used it for his work traveling all over the Southeast. He told me today that the worst gas mileage he's gotten is 36.5 and the very best has been 41.6, if I can get anywhere close I'll be exstatic! My current ride, our '98 Rav4 is only getting about 23, so this will seem like a Hybrid.

Picking up the Yaris on Sunday, will post some pics when I get her home. I haven't finished painting her baby room (garage), but I'm sure she'll be comfortable anyway!!

^Well, you can always try what my roommate tried with his camry. Drove it for 40k without changing the oil.
...at 240k miles it still hadn't worked.

Just got my new to me Yaris home, too late for pictures, will get some tomorrow after work. Took it out for a spirited drive before loading her on the car trailer for the ride home (long story, explination later), reminded me of my '89 Civic Si as far as power and handling feel. Tried to get it to do anything wierd with the rear end and just stayed planted and tracked fairly well. The Si had an independent rear set-up, that actually induced some rear steer, the Yaris feels much more secure stock!!

As promised a few pics of the new Yaris. One plesent surprise when I picked it up, it already had a Micro Image under tray already installed, owner said he gained a few extra MPG with that addition. The other nice touch, is the Scion XM Satelite radio he installed.

I've got a friend making an aluminum floor panel for a subaru 360 car, strictly out of miller cans. haha. That's economical, right? haha
