Hello

My 2005 Yaris failed its UK MOT:cry:

Garage says it is due to the headlight beams not being alligned properly.
They cannot seem to fix it and say that new headlight units might be needed.

I am sure there must be a simpler solution.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Remove the headlights and align them yourself. It's not that hard...

Apologies if this sounds obvious but have you checked that the leveling control inside the car is set at 0?. If it is there areadjuster screws on the top of the headlamp leveling motors. Dipped beam should fall at 1% that is 1cm. every metre. ( UK regulations )
