I have a 2007 3 Door and I unknowingly disassembled and removed the little sockets that hold in the map lights. It appears that the only way to re-install the light sockets is to access the top of the map light fixture that is attached to the headliner. Does anybody know a simple trick to remove this fixture? I have attached a photo of the piece I'm talking about in case I used the wrong terminology.
Thank you!

It is held up there with a couple of spring clips, so you simply pull it away from the headliner.

Thanks! So I simply pull it straight down without squeezing any tabs or anything? It pops straight out if you pull it hard enough?

Yes. just get a finger or two between the edge of it and the headliner and then pull it down.

Thanks that worked perfectly. I found the four spring clips by poking around with a flat plastic thing.

It takes an aggressive tug, doesn't it?

Just pulled this down. Super easy if you just us a flathead to depress the clips 1 at a time. Now to figure out the rest of the headliner.......

I've been wondering, anyone know what those three little vent looking things at the top in the first pic are for?

My guess is either for the temperature monitor on those that have autoclimate controls, or the mic for the bluetooth.
I am waiting to have some free time on hand and hack it so i can install my mic behind this.

never thought of bluetooth mic, but my guess is for cabin temperature sensor as Euro yarises do get autoclimate control, though the bluetooth mic makes sense.
i hacked into it and put an LED there that lights up with my park lights (at night).
