Got these on Ebay after seeing TheBarbers for sale thread...

Install was cake, tapped the plastic door panel instead of the door itself. Ran the wires through the rubber door conduit(?) under the dash and then tapped into the dome light at the fuse box per CTScotts DIY floating around.

Did you play around with how powerful they are before you installed them. Kinda wondering if they maintain readable resolution if they are spaced further from the asphalt. Not lookin' to aim it towards the sky for a Bat-symbol, just curious. Thx

The resolution does diminsh the further back you go, however they are still easily discernible as to what they are/say up to probably 3'-4' or so off the ground. My brother in law ordered a set for his lited truck so we'll know exactly what the limit is here in a few days...they'll need to mounted a good 3-4' up to work on his truck.

the ghost shadow led that u install with the plastic body material was a bad quality product , u should buy with aluminium material with better quality .

Mazilla's one is only shown when he opens his doors. He may have one of the earlier versions in plastic housing? In any case, it's not exposed to the elements.
I think yours (http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44280), displaying it everywhere you drive, is leaning towards "ricey" but as long as you like it then who cares what others think.

They have the aluminum body, not plastic.

I still think one of these would look awesome if you could shine it in the back of the hatch cover when you open the hatch. I've got on 10" sub centered back there, shine it dead center of the sub to make it look like a "Toyota subwoofer" :) might disperse too much from the height you would have to mount it for something like that though...but it'd be cool IMO!

I thought about that, but in my car I added a 20ish led pod to my hatch so when I open it at night I have a ton of light overhead to see what's going on while loading, etc.
